JOEL KIRK
Joel is joining our team as the official videographer. He will be capturing everything from pre-race training to the wheels crossing the finish line in Annapolis to document our journey. Joel Kirk served as assistant director for The Music Man, 42nd Street, The Woods and Collected Stories at Ball State University. This summer, he assistant directed “Miles and Ellie” at the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis. Last fall, he assistant directed Always…Patsy Cline for the Actors Theatre of Indiana. Last summer, Joel directed and set designed Dial M For Murder for the Carmel Playhouse. He has also directed Wanda’s Visit, Hairspray, Easily Exceptional, and Space Probe. In 2012, Joel won “Best Picture” in the Heartland High School Film Competition for the short film Rotating Clock. He received the 2012 Indiana Thespian State Award for Best Film for the short film Mark Made. He co-authored the new musical If You Don’t Outdie Me and made the documentary From Process to Product. Joel is a theatrical directing major and a film directing major with a minor in scenic design and lighting at Ball State University. |
